Just a reminder that it is usual for all teams to donate a raffle prize for the presentation evening. This can be anything of your choice. Please bring with you on the evening.
The evening will start at 7.30pm and last orders at the bar will be 11.00pm.
Can I also ask, that if anyone attending from your club has any food intolerance of allergy related issues that you please inform me before the evening.

If you can’t see your team in the first round it’s because you finished 1st or 2nd in your division and therefore got a bye into the semi final.
The first round matches start on the 12/07/23.

Hope this finds you well and looking forward to the forthcoming tennis season – 2023.

The Annual General Meeting of the Walkden & District Tennis League will take place on Tuesday 21st March 2023 at Claremont Tennis Club at 7.30pm.
Any items or proposals for discussion at the meeting should be sent to me by Tuesday 14th March 2023.
Could you also let me know how many teams your club will be entering into the league, together with any new applications to join or any resignations from the league, also by the 14th March 2023.

Please note that every club should send a representative to the meeting.

2022 Minutes

Sorry to announce that the Tennis presentation due to be held on Friday 7th October has had to be canceled due to staff shortages at David Lloyd.
We hope to rearrange at a later date, possibly in the new year.

Dear All,

Wednesday 29th June was the last game of the League Season.
However, after a weeks break the Cup Matches will commence on Wednesday 13th July.
The top two teams in each division will get a bye into the semi-final. The remaining four teams will be drawn to play each other for the remaining two semi-final places.
Once the 1st round has been played we will have another weeks break for the Bolton Tournament.
The Semi-Finals of the Cup will take place on Wednesday 27th July and the Final on Wednesday 3rd August, or by arrangement between the two finalists.
Please keep yours eyes out on the League website from Sunday 3rd July when we will post the fixtures for the 1st round of the cup competition.
You may have noticed that the League website is a week out of date, this is due to Gary being on holiday and I don’t want to mess up his system.
